Interlude

Today has been a nice restful day, The Baron repaired my crappy washing machine (the fucker broke down again) and cooked lunch for us.

I've finished my scarf and I am now working on a purple and cream stripey blanket, just because. I also created a template to knit a picture of Lila, but I am having trouble with carrying a second wool along. I can change colours at row ends, but mid row seems to be beyond me. I'd ask my mum, but she and my dad buggered off to St Lucia yesterday and probably won't want to talk me through it on the phone.

Tomorrow, the Baron's parents are coming for lunch. I'm dreading it, but once done, we should be safe for quite a while. I just happen to have some important work to do that I will need to do tomorow afternoon...

Care to share a photo of your scarf? And blanket in progress?

I can carry yarn across on small things like mini-hat Christmas ornaments. There is a technique to it but I have no idea how! Good luck with that picture of Lila.

The blanket with a Lila picture sounds awesome, I'm sure you'll figure it out. Good luck with the in-laws!
